German teams Oberpfalz Hunters and Berlin BN will face off in the cadet final of the Costa Brava Girona Basket. Another German team, München, has reached the U14 final, where they will take on Grup Barna. In the mini category, the final will be an all-Catalan affair.
In the cadet semifinals, Oberpfalz Hunters defeated Claret Las Palmas 97-63, while Berlin BN overcame fellow German side Ulm 74-65 in a closely contested match that wasn’t decided until the final minutes.
In the U14 category, München advanced to the final by beating Laguna Tenerife 70-61. In a dramatic finish and after a first half that lasted over an hour, Grup Barna edged out Colegio Nuryana from Tenerife 77-66. Today’s final will be played at 12:00 PM in Sant Gregori, while the third-place game will take place at the same time in Salt.
In the mini category, it will be a Catalan final after Time Travel from Barcelona defeated Valladolid in a tight 67-64 match, and Grup Barna beat Vic in another close game, 75-70. That final will be played today in Vilablareix at 12:00 PM.
This final day of competition begins at 9:00 AM, with all placement matches scheduled throughout the morning.
