It is not about the legend of the ghost ship (the Flying Dutchman). It is one of the Dutch teams with the fastest exponential growth in recent decades: the Harlem Lakers. The club, despite being born in 1983, already has more than 300 players. In addition, although its goal is that everyone who wants it, can sign up to practice sports, have some teams in the best leagues in their categories.
This is the case of the male U16, that will come to the Costa Brava Girona Basquet from Dutch lands. In this tournament they will meet other teams of their league, such as the New Heroes Den Bosch and the Apollo of Amsterdam, which has not yet enjoyed official presentation in the tournament.
It is worth remembering that the Harlem Lakers has only played once the tournament and was last year in the same category as it will in this edition, achieving the deserved fifth position.
