Rathioparm Ulm, the “farmhouse” of German Basketball

Costa Brava Girona Basket 2015 receive during days 2, 3 and 4 April visit one of the best reserve of young players of European basketball. Specifically, the German Rathioparm Ulm, coming to the city of Girona to compete in the category of U16 Male with one of their teams. The German club has been drawn in Group D along with the CB Pineda, Lliçà d’Amunt and Tabirako Baqué.

The Rathioparm Ulm is a professional basketball club in a city with over 120,000 inhabitants, founded in 2001 and plays in the top division of Germany (now is in the fourth position). However, one of the values ​​of Ulm’s basketball is the young players, because it has a training center highly valued in the German country. Undoubtedly, it is the German club that has grown more in the last ten years.

In fact, the Rathioparm Ulm has a total of 26 teams.  The German club not only strives to 100% to train their players on the court, also makes it out of that. Ulm has its own house in Söflingen, where young players have easy access to the school and the best gyms, as well as various places in the city of Ulm.
