“Badalona, the basketball cradle”. This Catalan city with a huge basketball tradition will be represented in the Costa Brava-Girona Basket by the Associació Esportiva Minguella.
AE Minguella was founded in 1988 and they are famous for the “Pere Gol” tournament, which they have hosted every season for almost 30 years. What’s more, several Spanish elite players have started his career in the Poliesportiu Casagemes. It is the case of La Penya current captain, Albert Ventura; the former player of TAU Cerámica and Real Madrid, Sergi Vidal; or the Akasvayu and Barcelona point guard, Víctor Sada.
The U-14 Minguella boys will visit Girona at Easter in order to compete in the CBGB’19.
