There won’t be any basketball players in the island of Menorca at Easter, because they will all be in the Costa Brava-Girona Basket. Today we announce the participation of CB La Salle Mahón, the third team from Menorca that will take part in this year’s tournament. The club from Mahón joins CCE Sant Lluís and CB Boscos and will compete in the U16 and U14 male categories and the U16 female.
The team belongs to the school “La Salle Mahón”. It was trending topic last summer for changing the name of its court to “Pabellón Deportivo Sergio Llull”. The Real Madrid player is a former student of the school and took his first steps as a basketball player in CB Salle Mahón.
This year, CB Salle Mahón will visit Girona for the third season in a row. And, like Sergio Llull does in every game, they have proved year after year their talent and competitiveness.
