Today has finished the Top European first round, which has been breathtaking. Every team has played two games and they all have got a win and a loss. Besides, all the games have had a close ending and no team has been able to win by ten points or more. They two best teams in each group advance to the semifinals that will be played in the afternoon.
The leader of group A, Ratiopharm Ulm, will play at 17:45h against Zalgiris Kaunas, which has finished second of group B. The second semifinal is formed by Apollo Amsterdam and Barcelona (group A leader and group B second) will face each other at 19:30h. Both group’s third qualified teams, the Czech Republic National Team and PBG Starzz will open the second round at 16:00h to compete for the fifth and sixth place.
