The Costa Brava-Girona Basket opens its doors every year to teams from everywhere around the world. This season, a team from Africa will visit the tournament for the first time in its six years of history. We are talking about Youth InterSport & Cultural Association (YISCA), from Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.
YISCA is an association founded in 2013, where young children from Nairobi can practice all kinds of sports such as soccer, hockey or rugby. Since not long ago, the organization also offers the possibility to play basketball. At Easter, we will welcome the U14 YISCA boys who will travel all the way from Kenya to Girona in order to compete at the CBGB’19.
